Weekly Bulletin – 25th June 2021
Coronavirus infection levels continue to rise across the County and particular in the City of Durham area. A number of local schools have bubbles isolating. I continue to need your help to ensure that school remains Covid-secure.
Please continue to work with us to prevent the spread of the virus as far as possible.
Please remember to:
- strictly observe drop off and pick up times
- leave the school site and surrounding area as soon as you have collected your children
- supervise your children if they are waiting to collect/drop off a sibling at later staggered time
- ensure your children stand with you and are not running around the waiting area.
I remind parents to inform school immediately of any Covid-19 test results. You can telephone the school office between 9am and 4pm Monday and Friday or use the school email address: email@example.com at other times. Please use ‘COVID-19 TEST RESULT’ in the subject line of your email. Staff continue to monitor emails and will respond as soon as they are able during non-working hours.
The Deputy Headteacher post has been advertised and interviews will take place before the end of term. I will keep you updated as this process progresses further.

As part of Durham Music Service’s ‘Big Play’ event, Mr Senior has recorded the children performing in their brass groups. These videos will be available for pupils and staff to watch in their classes until the end of term.
As the weather is warming up (hopefully!), please remember to apply a long-lasting sun cream before your child comes to school. Please also provide a named sun-hat.
